Kairos and Exercise Goals
I just thought it poignant at this time to mention the benefits of being steady but persistent in your physical goal achieving efforts. It is the time of year when many people jump head long into physical programs in an attempt to remove the excesses of The Festive Period. I end up seeing a fair share of them on my treatment couch as the thoughts of being an elite athlete fade with a painful debilitating injury caused by: TOO MUCH TOO SOON. Here we go again, not this old chestnut? Well quite frankly yes. This short piece is here to remind us all of the magic of following the methods of our natural universe and creating our reality in the fullness of time. It is the old hare and the tortoise again, is it not? And we know who wins that one, don't we? Incremental changes, sometimes almost imperceptibly grow and grow into great achievements that last and endure. Too much too soon is the human way that will end in a more than likely undesirable result. Stretch yourself steadily and slowly and see the wonderful results blossom in front of your eyes. Enjoy both the labour of love and the fruits!
P.s Kairos means in The Universes Time compared to 'chronos' which is man's time.
