Patience
Patience was not a word in my vocabulary. You are reading the words of a man who once upon a time did not understand the meaning of the word PATIENCE. I have been at times in my life the classic impatient, do it now, think later person. Doing everything as fast as possible to get the results as quickly as possible and getting frustrated with everything and everyone that did not go at my pace. Does anyone recognise this? Well judging by the amount of road rage and stressed rushing that I see I am assured there is a great deal of it around. I am unsure as to what if anything in particular brought about the change in my philosophy but at this point in my life I am so much more relaxed. I actually enjoying life instead of rushing blindly through it and guess what YES I AM ACHIEVING MORE. I am sure it has been a combination of things that have contributed to a change in my adopted pace of life, if I can call it that. Whatever they are I am truly grateful for them. Ok son get to the point. The point is is that there is a pace of life that all of nature works from. The seasons, the bees, the tides, everything. It is unnerring, unchanging and constant and no matter what it just keeps occurring. It brings results year after year after year, without fail. What a great thing to be enjoying life and still be achieving. How many adults can say that? I would like to see a few more than actually are. So, how do you get into this groove? Well as with most things it is a habit. Start small, go for a walk, sit and listen to some music, meditate or read or even have a doze if you feel the need without feeling guilty. Take time for yourself and look after that precious mind and body you have been given. It is the key to all of your life experience. Love yourself and enjoy the moment and strangely enough life takes care of itself.
