Quality Physical Therapy

Quality or Quantity

What is most important quality physical therapy or quantity? Really I think the answer is obvious but I am regularly reminded that not everyone sees it this way. It seems to be that people call up the clinic and enquire as to whether we can treat a condition they have. Invariably we answer in the affirmative and then comes the question of how much it costs.

Now some folks are simply quite happy with this whilst others then proceed to ask: well how long do I get for my money?

This question continues to amaze me because personally all I really care about is getting a satisfactory result. How long it takes is irrelevant. I mean would you rather have your problem fixed in five minutes or thirty? I will take the former every time thank you.

The Psychology of Value and Need

Some people seem to equate the process of getting value for money by ensuring that they are in the clinic for the maximum amount of time.

Our business of treating aches and pains tends to lessen slightly at this festive time. People are more concerned with Christmas preparations than they are with solving their physical problems. You watch though it happens every single year. Just wait until January when the cold weather is set in. People have little to look forward to and they will come in droves to make themselves feel better. Human nature again and the awesome power of the mind. Or is it just me?

There is tonnes of quality physical therapy advice in our clinic.
